Hey guys,

We’re sorry to announce that Hail The Villain has had to cancel their appearances in Toronto and Montreal on May 25 and 26.  Unfortunately, the band is stuck in Pennsylvania with vehicle troubles and won’t be back on the tour until Friday.  Lacuna Coil will be continuing their dates as planned, and you should definitely go out and see them!

We will announce some new dates in Toronto and Montreal shortly to make up for this. Thanks for your understanding.

To all of you who had trouble getting in to our show at CMW this year we are truly sorry!  We did not anticipate the level of attendance for this show and we now realize that it is a shame we played a show in Toronto at a smaller club.  Honestly, we understand that many of our friends travel far distances to see us play and it is not cool that you were forced to wait in the rain or got turned away at the door.

We were really excited to finally perform in Toronto again, especially to see you all and chat it up after the show and I know I can speak for everyone in the band that we are deeply grateful to everybody who came out to support us.  Please remember that we don't choose the venues we play for CMW shows.  Most of the time a band is just lucky to be part of the festival.

Moving forward we will do all that we can to ensure that no one is turned away when we play a Toronto show.  So many of our most dedicated fans and friends deserve better and this is not something that we ever want to see happen again.

It is official. We have signed to Roadrunner Records in the U.S. and are proud to announce that they will be releasing our record worldwide (with the exception of Canada), in early spring of 2010. Warner Music will be handling us here at home.

We would like to thank you all for helping us get here and we can't wait to be touring and seeing everybody in the next few months!

HAIL THE VILLAIN

We apologize for the delay but HAIL THE VILLAIN would love to thank the great people of Tecumseh and the Windsor area for such a great show at The Corn Festival! Not only was it the largest crowd we have ever played for, it was also an unbelievable experience to perform in front of the killer music fans out there! We can't say enough about you guys and we are excited to return to Windsor this Saturday the 19th to rock for you again.

On that note, we are gearing up for lots of evil goodness in the next few months and none more important than the release of our video for "Take Back The Fear". We said from day one that we wanted to do something special with our videos and not just release the same ol' performance style shenanigans. It would not be in our nature to stand in a room with flashing lights and pretend to rock a song for the cameras. For that reason you can be sure this will be epic!

Also, it is awesome to see so much activity on our myspace, facebook and youtube channel.

We appreciate all the support and we will return the favour shortly with an entire overhaul of these sites, with new images from the video and a brand new website unlike any you have ever seen.

Be ready, the end of 2009 will get really interesting and we hope to be on tour again as early as October!

It is with heavy hearts that we honour our friend and ex-manager Brandon Semple.

Over the past weekend, Brandon unexpectedly and sadly passed away. We all are deeply troubled by the loss of such a wonderful person and it has been extremely hard for us to cope with his death over the past few days.

We in Hail The Villain remember Brandon as a happy and driven person. He was a fan of the band and always wanted the best for us. His charm was undeniable, his heart was always in the right place and most importantly Brandon loved life and the people around him.

Brandon was also instrumental in guiding our band through the early stages of our career which included our huge steps toward The Agency Group, Coalition Entertainment and Warner Music. He also came with us on our first Canadian tour and to us his legacy will never be forgotten.

It is unfortunate that Brandon's passing has left many incredible people behind. We can't even begin to imagine the pain his family is feeling. Our condolences go out to them and we hope they receive all the comfort and time needed to cope with this tragedy.

All of us who knew Brandon will keep his memory close. We will not forget the years we spent with him.

Brandon, we thank you for all the wonderful things you did for us and we are truly going to miss you.

We have had a great few weeks since arriving home from tour. Our show in Edmonton with Bif Naked and Gob was fantastic and we have been busy recording and rehearsing for our upcoming dates in Ontario.

It is exciting for us to finally lift the cover off 4 new songs that have been officially completed. Track names include "I'm A Killer", "Downfall", "Look Ma No Head", and "Deathmaster Snitch". Expect a severe face melting!

We also promised to unveil "Big News" when we arrived home but it seems we will have to wait a little longer to share it with you! In other news, what we can tell you is that our animated music video is in the final stages of production and it is better than we could ever of expected. As well a brand new web site is in the works for the upcoming release of our record and quite a few other things that we will share with you as soon as we can.

For now we just hope to see as many of you as we can during these five shows that are so close to home. Come ready to scream, kick ass, sing, cheer and experience HAIL THE VILLAIN!

We have been on the road for three weeks now, starting in New York and now we are in Seattle. With Five shows left we thought it was time to let our friends and fans know just how great this has been!

Every show has been "off the hook" with honorable mentions to Toronto ON, Auburn Maine, London ON, Edmonton AB, and Kelowna BC for having total sell out shows!

More than ever, we know that HAIL THE VILLAIN is becoming something incredibly special and we can see the reaction on all your faces at every tour stop we perform! So much so we are already booking dates in July and August to return to as many of the cities we just crossed as possible.

HAIL THE VILLAIN thanks you for rocking out with us each and every night. We apologize that our records release was unavailable for this CKY tour but we appreciate all your requests at the merch table and hope that it will be in your music players soon!
